Donating to the Library

Financial donations

Haldimand County Public Library is a registered charitable organization. Your support can make a meaningful difference to the Library and your community. Donations assist us in expanding our collections and improving our programs and services.

Ways to donate

In person

You can make a donation at one of our library branches. Cash and cheques are accepted. Tax receipts are available on request.

If you would like your donation to go towards a specific branch, collection or service, let our staff know when your make your donation.

Online

You can donate online through our Canada Helps profile page, using a credit card, PayPal, Google Pay or Canada Helps gift card. Tax receipts are automatically generated by Canada Helps.

If you’d like the donation to go to a specific branch, collection or service, let us know in the “send a message to this charity” field on the donation form.

Donation of materials

We are not seeking material donations at this time. 

The Dunnville Branch will accept donations from April 1st through December 31st for their annual Friends of the Library Book Sale. Donations will not be accepted in Dunnville during the months of January, February and March. 

Items of local historical significance that can be added to our archival collections (such as local history books, photographs, postcards).
