Hagerville Branch Closed February 1st for Relocation!
Service Disruption
The Hagersville Branch (13 Alma St. N) will be closed on February 1, 2026. The Library will be relocated to the New Hagersville Library and Active Living Centre (11 Athens St.). The Grand Opening date will be announced shortly!
To reduce barriers to library service, overdue fines are no longer applied to most library materials when returned late. All pre-existing fines have been waived. Join us for a fresh start!
Service Disruption Notice: The exterior book return at the Hagersville Branch will be closed until further notice. Please return all materials inside, during regular business hours, or to another Haldimand County Library Branch. We apologize for the inconvenience.
Friends of the Library organizations are non-profit groups of volunteers dedicated to promoting and supporting library services in their community. The Friends groups are organized and run by community members with the support of Library staff.
In Haldimand County, we have active Friends of the Library groups for our Caledonia and Dunnville branches. If you’re interested in joining the Friends of the Library, contact the associated library branch.

A "book club" where there are no assigned readings, mandatory discussions, or pressure to finish a book on time.
Taking part is easy. Bring anything you want to read to the Caledonia branch (book, eBook, audiobook, textbook, magazine, anything you would like!) or choose something from the library branch. Then relax in one of our comfy chairs by the fireplace, introduce yourself to fellow readers, and settle in to read quietly for an hour.
Everyone is welcome. No Registration is necessary.

Join the Friends - Volunteer Recruitment
The Dunnville Friends of the Library are currently recruiting volunteers to help with their fundraising initiatives throughout the year. Work includes, but is not limited to, sorting and packing/unpacking book donations, set up/set down of the Summer Book Sale and Elves Shoppe, attending meetings and other community events representing the Friends of the Library.
The Friends have positions open year-round for adult volunteers and two positions available for Summer Student Volunteers (annually June through August, hours to support OSSD requirement).
