Community Puzzles - Caledonia and Hagersville Branches
Calling all puzzle lovers!
Community members of all ages who enjoy puzzles are invited to stop by the Hagersville or Caledonia branches and help complete a large community jigsaw puzzle.
A Community Puzzle is a drop‑in activity that encourages everyone to work together to complete a puzzle over time. The puzzle will remain out until it is finished, so visit the branch anytime it is open and add a piece (or twenty!). Once it’s complete, we will display the completed one and put out a new one.
How to Participate
- Visit either participating branch and look for the Community Puzzle station:

- Caledonia: located by the Cookbooks

- Choose a piece and add it to the puzzle—every piece helps build the bigger picture.
- Enjoy the process and take part in an activity that brings the community together.

Grab and Go! Bundles available in all branches starting September 8th
In a hurry? Not sure what to borrow next? Then our Grab and Go bundles might be just what you need.
Beginning Tuesday, September 8, the Haldimand County Public Library will offer Grab and Go bundles at all six branch locations. These pre‑selected bundles make choosing materials quick and easy, with options available from both our children’s and adult collections.
Each bundle includes 3 to 7 carefully chosen items—books, movies, magazines, graphic novels, and more—ready for you to “grab and go.”
How to Borrow
- Visit the designated Grab and Go area in any branch.
- Choose a bundle (or bundles!) that interest you. Every bundle has a tag describing the bundle, for example: British Mysteries or Counting Books.
- Bring the entire bundle to the circulation desk
- Staff will check the items out on your library card, and you’re all set to enjoy them at home.
Bundles will be refreshed regularly in every branch, so be sure to take a look each time you visit.

We strive to explore each topic through displays, programs and informational resources that ensure meaningful engagement and representation of all Haldimand County's community members.
